GOODBYE MARY

I wanted to share this for anyone looking in for a voice or distraction from the press right now: It is my hope that anyone that does is being wise and elegant with their choices.

(A Poem) - Goodbye Mary

Took my sofa for a walk around my television,

Put my head back for a while before my true religion,

Fixed my chair before I fall alone upon the floor tonight.

Crumpled easy to the reasons of the rhythm Mary

Took a pause to laugh to lines upon my telly Mary

So I'll sing now just to pass the time.

Ain't my best song but that's no reason why!

So I'll sing now just before the nights, tonight's goodbye - hey!

Took my sweater off to write a line inside my bubble.

Pitched an idea in my head to save the world the trouble.

Ran my fingers down some strings,

To prove that I'm still here tonight.

Did you crumple to the reasons of the rhythm Mary?

Take a pause to laugh to lines upon the telly Mary?

Did you sing now just to pass the time?

Ain't your best song but that's no reason why.

Did you sing now for the night, tonights the night's goodbye?

Should we crumple to the reasons of the rhythm Mary?

Take a pause to laugh to lines upon the telly Mary?

Do we sing now just to pass the time?

Ain't our best song but that's no reason why!

Should we sing now?

For the night, tonights the night's goodbye

Shall we sing now just to pass the time?

Ain't our best song - but that's no reason why.

Shall we sing now

For the night, tonights the night's goodbye

For the night's goodbye.
